Press Release
Dear MRPOA Members,
The McCormick Ranch Property Owners Association Board and Staff would like to express our gratitude that no injuries were reported during the recent storm that impacted our community. We understand that the aftermath of the storm has brought challenges, and we deeply appreciate your patience and understanding as we work diligently to restore our beautiful property.
Immediately after the storm, our crews prioritized your safety by quickly clearing roadways and high-traffic areas to ensure safe passage for all residents. Once the streets were secure, we turned our attention to the multi-use path, sidewalks, and common areas, which are now being addressed as swiftly as possible.
Please bear with us as we adjust our regular mowing and trimming schedules to focus on removing the extensive storm debris, including felled trees, limbs, and other plant material. As always, the safety and well-being of our residents remain our top priority while we work to clean and preserve our community.
In the coming months, you may notice the removal of additional trees that were damaged by the storm. Rest assured that the Board has allocated budgets and plans to address these losses. Our tree succession plan, which has been ongoing for years, ensures that we are prepared to replant and revitalize our community. We are committed to using drought-tolerant native plants and trees that require less water, increase shade coverage, and enhance the beauty of McCormick Ranch.
We kindly ask that you do not approach workers operating heavy and potentially dangerous equipment. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our office at 480-860-1122, ext. 200, leave a message through the community app, or email us at admin@mrpoa.com.
For those who experienced damage to their property, we recommend contacting your homeowner’s insurance company to guide you through the cleanup and repair process.
Thank you again for your patience and cooperation during this time. McCormick Ranch remains the best place to live, work, and play in Scottsdale, Arizona, and together, we will continue to keep it that way.
Sincerely,
MRPOA Board President Rick Currey, Board Members and Executive Staff
